Flat tire? Just flip a switch in your cabin and the vehicle is jacked to change the tire.

This was a project for ME 2024, Engineering Design and Economics. The design project was an automated vehicle lifting device that could be operated from the interior of the vehicle. The design was intended for integration into luxury vehicles and for an aftermarket part to be permanently installed on vehicles. Creating a prototype for the project was optional, and I opted for it. The prototype is made of 1/8" steel and the stock jack from my Jeep (not permanently welded). I totally built the prototype's housing from scrap steel laying around in my garage, but the motor and jack were pre-made. This final design worked manually cranking it, but the prototype motor was not strong enough to lift the jack. Overall, the prototype was fairly successful, considering building a prototype was optional.

This website is powered by a custom database driven content management system designed by myself. It is also always under construction. There are probably lots of dead links, maybe I'll have them fixed some day.

I am in the process of moving this site over from synergyfab.com, so please bear with me as I make the shift
