Modular roof rack that can accept a basket or bike rack.

My last roof rack (by Surco) was a horrible design that left the stock nut strip in the roof broken and the whole roof dented in. The mounting brackets did not fit all vehicles like the description claimed. So I set off to make my own roof rack brackets. The goal was a transformable roof rack, able to switch between basket, bike rack, snow board rack, light bar, and bare roof. I made 4 brackets that go into the rain gutter for quick disconnecting. They have 5 holes to accommodate future stuff, but now the inner two are being used. I make a bike rack then that fits into the bars from the old rack I bought. The cool thing is how transformable it is, I can use the bike rack with or without the basket and vice versa. I haven't made the snow board rack or light bar yet however.

Four brackets and front crossbar

Note the stock bolt that won't go back down because the Surco rack broke the nut strip
The bike rack attachment
Doesn't lock like my brother's Yakima, but much cheaper (and more fun)
Testing it out with my Kona Stinky
Drag reduction by the fiberglas fairing.

This website is powered by a custom database driven content management system designed by myself. It is also always under construction. There are probably lots of dead links, maybe I'll have them fixed some day.

I am in the process of moving this site over from synergyfab.com, so please bear with me as I make the shift

The Evan Beloni site has been designed by Evan Beloni for use with Mozilla Firebird or Firefox and has been partially tested with Internet Explorer as well. If there is any praise, problems or patrons, please send an email to . Thanks.
